Adopt a Sheltie

Shelties arrive in rescue from many different types of situations.  We can never tell when they will arrive or how long they need to stay with us to get back on their feet.  Some are owner turn-ins, loved, but for some reason (maybe the loss of a house or someone died) their family could no longer keep them. Others may have been abused and neglected, dumped at a shelter or in the street. Some may come from a puppy mill or hoarding situation. Others may be given up due to just simply getting older or having health issues or someone may have simply grown bored. Sad, but true.

If we don’t have a dog that interests you today, that could change at any time.  We encourage people to get applications in, because dogs that arrived can often be matched with waiting adopters before they get posted here.
